The district administration has made strong arrangements for the Prime Minister’s rally : Deputy Commissioner Parth Gupta
■ DC gave information about the preparations of the program in the press conference
LokhitExpress (Yamuna Nagar)April 10– Deputy Commissioner Parth Gupta said that on April 14, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of the third unit of Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram Thermal Power Plant at village Kail. All necessary preparations are being made by the district administration for the successful organization of this program.
Deputy Commissioner Parth Gupta was addressing a press conference held at the venue on Thursday. He said that about 50 to 60 thousand people are expected to attend the program. Adequate arrangements have been made for their seating, drinking water, toilets and security. He said that this program will be organized in about 170 acres of land, in which 40 acres have been set up for the main pandal and 96 acres for parking.
Three public parking lots are being constructed —
– On the Karnal-Saharanpur Highway,
– On Chhachhrauli Road,
– Opposite Chhachhrauli Road.
Tight security arrangements
The DC said that strong arrangements have been made for the security of the Prime Minister. 3000 policemen including 10 SPs, 20 DSPs, 75 inspectors from various districts will be on duty. 22 checkposts will be set up in the district and route diversion has also been arranged to control the traffic.
Health services will be ready
The Health Department is setting up 15 medical points at the event venue, where a team of doctors will be present. Apart from this, 25 ambulances will also be stationed at various sites.
Farmers will get compensation
The DC said that the farmers whose agricultural land is being used for organizing the program will be given proper compensation for the crop soon. For this, the demand for compensation for about 130 acres of land has been sent to the government.
