Public Works Minister launches development works worth about Rs. 9.5 crore in Jandiala Guru Constituency

During the last three years, the Aam Aadmi Party government under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab S. Bhagwant Singh Mann has brought the state back on track and no stone will be left unturned in the development of the state during the coming two years as well. These words were expressed by Public Works Minister S. Harbhajan Singh ETO while launching development works worth about Rs. 9.50 crore in Jandiala constituency.
Cabinet Minister S. Harbhajan Singh said that Jandiala constituency will be provided with all the facilities like a city and no village will be left behind in terms of development. He said that a network of roads is being laid in the state so that the pace of progress of the state can be increased.
He said that a total of 2.24 km road in village Narayangadh at a cost of Rs 81.35 lakh, a total of 8.84 km road in village Wadala Johal at a cost of Rs 271.12 lakh, a total of 4.63 km road in village Devidaspura at a cost of Rs 153.01 lakh, a total of 7.36 km road in village Tarsikka at a cost of Rs 246.33 lakh, a total of 3.45 km road in village Tarsikka Gram Panchayat Kartar Singh Nagar at a cost of Rs 106.14 lakh and a total of 1.670 km road in village Rana Kalan at a cost of Rs 73.51 lakh in district Amritsar will be constructed. Among them, mainly from village Rana Kalan to Bohri Wala Phatak, Gehri Wadala Johal, Rasoolpur Wadala Johal to Khujala, Wadala Johal Gehri Road to Wadal Bamma, Wadala Gehri to Gurdwara Baba Wadala Singh, similarly from Devidaspura to Gehri Mandi and village Devidaspura’s Phirni, Tarsikka Bulara to Tahirpur, Tarsikka from Dehriwal to Nehr Di Patti, Tarsikka Canal Bridge to village Bhoy, village Tarsikka’s Phirni, besides village Rana Kalan Jabbowal road to Dera Massa Singh Ranakalan, Rana Kalan Jabbowal to Dera Kulwant Singh Rana Kalan, Jabbowal to Dera Gajjan Singh, Rana Kala’s Phirni to Mata Rani Mandir, Dera Road to Shamshanghat Rana Kalan, Phirni Rana Kalan to Jaswant Singh Ex- Sarpanch Bazar Rana Kalan, Interlocking tiles will also be installed at various places from Rana Kalan Road to Ranjit Singh Shah House, from Dera Road to Bapu Harbans Singh House Rana Kalan.

The Cabinet Minister said that all these developments will be completed in the next 6 months and the construction of these roads will provide a lot of relief to the residents of this place in terms of traffic. He said that instructions have been issued to the officials to complete these works on time.
