Mohali, ( Anupama ) – Federations of Self Financing Technical Institution of India (FSFTI) have urged the Ministry of Education; University Grant Commission (UGC) & All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi to extend the cutoff date for admission till 30th November for the academic year 2021-22.
Dr. Anshu Kataria, President, FSFTI; President, Punjab Unaided Colleges Association (PUCA), Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh said that COVID-19 has impacted the strength of student’s admissions around the nation since the last 2 years. Due to this pandemic, admissions in 2020-21 & 2021-22 are worse affected & now after huge education loss the admissions are being streamlined as there is some relief from this pandemic.

Kataria added that delay in conducting the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) & Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) has also further delayed the entire admission process in the country. Due to which the admission cutoff dates should be extended till 30th November.
